Adds Powerful Tools for General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Collaboration
HOUSTON - January 8, 2002 - Bridgeway Software, Inc., the leading provider of corporate legal solutions, announced today the release of its corporate Application Suite upgrade, version 5.3. Bridgeway's Application Suite includes eCounselTM, the total legal department practice management software, and SecretariatTM, the premier corporate secretary automation solution, allowing efficient collaboration between the legal department and the office of the corporate secretary. Version 5.3 brings powerful new search enhancements and report writing tools as well as added grid functionality. Bridgeway has also integrated and supports the Application Suite with StellentTM Content Management, formerly known as Xpedio Content Management System.

- Perform advanced searches in eCounsel and Secretariat that include the ability to use Boolean Logic and SoundEx ("sounds like") searches.
- Mark any matter in eCounsel as private so that only users with permission can access the matter.
- Create high quality financial reports through the Output module.
- Generate commonly used forms for Canada and Bermuda in Secretarat.
In addition to StellentTM, the Application Suite is seamlessly integrated with many widely used word processing, document management, document assembly, email and other software programs, including Microsoft WordTM, WordPerfectTM, iManageTM, DOCSFUSION®, HotDocs®, Microsoft OutlookTM and Lotus NotesTM calendars and ShareDoc/LegalTM.
eCounselTM version 5.3
