Version 8.1 Offers Enhanced Performance
(November 26, 2007 -- Houston, TX) Bridgeway Software, Inc. today announced the release of version 8.1 of the Bridgeway Suite, including its flagship eCounsel and Secretariat products.
"Enterprise Suite version 8, available last December, was a major new release of our Secretariat and eCounsel systems," according to Kim Howard, Bridgeway's Director of Product Management. "The latest release enhances version 8 with a robust set of features that take our products to the next level. We are pleased to be able to partner with our clients on directing the feature-set of this latest release."
Enhancements to both eCounsel and Secretariat include:
- Widget Enhancements - Users can now place BusinessObjects reports as panels on the home page. Actual report graphics will display and remain open for easy reference, even while navigating to other areas of the Suite. In addition, the Stock Ticker widget can now display more than one stock at a time.
- Search - In addition to searching for matches within the database, the new full-text search feature allows searching for a word within a document or at the beginning of a document that is stored in the database or on a file server. In addition, templates used for search results can now be saved, modified and deleted.
Enhancements to eCounsel include:
- Service of Process integration - In version 8, eCounsel added a secure submission portal for service of process from CT Corporation, easily converting service of process data into matters to track, query or route for review. In Version 8.1, eCounsel added integration with National Registered Agents, Inc. (NRAI) and Corporation Service Company (CSC) with the same great features.
Enhancements to Secretariat include:
- Improved CorpChartsTM - Now fully integrated with Secretariat, CorpCharts™ has improved the options for charting, including the display of subsidiaries in vertical as well as horizontal views. CorpCharts™ now functions entirely within Secretariat, eliminating the need to launch a new application.
- Restricted Edit Rights - A security attribute sets up specific users with limited entity edit rights. These users can make changes to the entity information but the edits will not be posted to the database until a reviewer approves the changes.
- Enhanced Hot Docs templates - In direct response to client requests, version 8.1 includes newly-designed templates of common documents that contain updated fonts and the most current terminology.
