Bridgeway's "Think Tank" Meets

President's Advisory Council Focuses on Corporate Legal and Governance Technology Needs Present and Future

HOUSTON - March 17, 2003 -- Bridgeway Software, Inc., the leading provider of automated corporate legal solutions, announced today that its President's Advisory Council (PAC), with representatives from nine corporations, met at Bridgeway headquarters on February 24 th through the 27th. The purpose of the PAC is to create a round-table of experts representing Bridgeway's client base. The PAC gives Bridgeway feedback on the performance of its products and services in various corporate settings. The PAC also brainstorms on corporate legal and governance technology needs for the future. A complete list of Council attendees is attached to this press release.

"All of the participants in the PAC are very astute technology users," said Pat O'Donnell, president of Bridgeway. "Bringing them together creates a ‘Think Tank' atmosphere where attendees brainstorm their ‘wish lists.' It stimulates creative thinking, which helps Bridgeway understand the future direction of corporate legal technology."

Tim Donovan, senior vice president and general counsel of NEC Corporation, commented, "It was great to meet the Bridgeway ‘family' and see firsthand their commitment to excellence and the stability of the company. Pat O'Donnell is an enthusiastic visionary about the future direction of corporate legal technology. Bridgeway's new programs were most interesting to me, particularly the program to apply logic to managing processes like employment."

The PAC meeting had three days packed with information and a chance to network with each other. The first day included an interview with Corporate Secretary magazine and a discussion about corporate record keeping. Then Bridgeway's management team led an open discussion of their software, focusing on eCounselTM and SecretariatTM. The second day focused on product management. Bridgeway's product managers, Kim Whittaker and Josh Underwood, gave a detailed description of recent product releases. This was followed by a discussion of the integration of eCounsel and Secretariat. Finally, on the third day, the PAC discussed Bridgeway's long-term direction.

Kathy Krystek, senior systems engineer at Mirant, said, "Networking with other eCounsel and Secretariat users was great. Demonstrations of new versions were very helpful, and I was particularly impressed that Bridgeway took input. Client service is important to them at a time when a lot of companies are getting away from it."

Chris Carpenter, senior systems analyst for Shaw Industries adds, "It is good when a company wants to grow and do better than they have even if they've been doing great. Bridgeway asks what is important to the users so they can learn, set goals and form new directions. Integration was an important topic."

Everyone who attended the PAC meeting agreed that networking with other Bridgeway users and meeting the Bridgeway group in person was valuable. Kathy Krystek learned Shaw Industries is fairly close to Mirant in Georgia. She and Chris Carpenter can visit, share ideas and answer questions because the PAC brought them together.
