eCounsel Clients Can Choose e-Mail or Web Delivery of Invoices
HOUSTON – June 18, 2003 — Bridgeway Software, Inc., the leading provider of automated corporate legal solutions, announced today the addition of two new einvoicing services to enhance its popular eCounsel product. These new Bridgeway services offer the choice of using either secure web transport or flexible and simple email to receive invoices, providing eCounsel clients the option of choosing the e-billing solution that best fits their needs. Both eCounsel Cost Management services enable corporate legal departments to receive invoices electronically from law firms directly into eCounsel, reducing processing time, increasing oversight and virtually eliminating costly and error prone manual data entry.
Bridgeway’s web e-invoicing solution occurs as the result of a strategic partnership between Bridgeway and Tripoint Systems Development Corporation. Bridgeway will offer DirectInvoice™, tightly integrated with eCounsel, as its premier web e-invoicing service to enhance its cost management solution. This option not only provides a secure and comprehensive system to track and manage legal invoices, but also enhances eCounsel’s capabilities in workflow approval, invoice auditing, data analysis and AP integration.
Bridgeway’s e-mail e-invoicing solution is a new service from Bridgeway that will automate the process of receiving and importing an invoice in either Ledes 98 or 2000 format into eCounsel, when delivered as a standard e-mail attachment. This service is provided in response to multiple requests Bridgeway has received from companies wanting the simplest and most inexpensive way of transporting and receiving invoices electronically. Invoices received in this manner will take full advantage of eCounsel’s current cost management features for invoice routing and approval, auditing, and budgeting.
