(July 25, 2007 -- Houston, TX) Blane Erwin, Bridgeway’s Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, will speak about law department management on August 11 at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) 2007 Annual Meeting in San Francisco.
The Business Law section panel will lead an unstructured roundtable discussion about issues concerning corporate law departments such as financial management of law department operations and convergence programs. The panel will also discuss the impact of law firm hourly rate increases. Other panel speakers include Julie S. Mazza of New York, New York and Robert R. Simpson of Hartford, Connecticut. The discussion is presented by Corporate Counsel, Corporate General Counsel and Corporate General Counsel of Litigation.
